Electronic Music 411 - Ni Ten Ichi Ryu, a badly written essay by Sweet Trip

might have to dig some photek out of the vaults, give that track a listen... photek was so badass, still isn't much drum and bass that can compare. the only new drum and bass that i have heard resently was really weak. what happened to the bass?

Amazing track, indeed.
More than 10 years later, i keep digging the sharp beats, it is never too much "in your face", nor a breakz battle, just the right settings and dealing with sound and silence.
I had the vinyl EP, but sadly the sun hatd it ;)
