do you guys seriously think that song is so bad? i kind of like the rythmic feel change at the chorus, the cheesy van halen lead sound, and stuff. But then I admit that screamo is one of my guilty pleasures.

oh yeah! ..... personally it's not the instrumentation/arrangements of an emo song, it's the whiny vocals and that monotonous whine that really puts me off. Absolutely zero melody.

I just hate the singing, the rest isn't so bad.

I really like the idea that so many bands are picking up synths.

it's the eighties all over again!! WOWOOWOWOOO

lol.. i don't think i've ever seen u peeps come down on somebody so hard.

yea, lol, that was pretty brutal.

although i do agree that it sucks,

who teh fuck am i?

well I'm glad that some people enjoyed it. I also share the guilty pleasure of some screamo. I like Halifax, Alexisonfire and Dead Poetic, none of them are really electronic at all. but they are along the lines of screamo that I enjoy. This is just kind of neat for me. I love the clap. what a great way to get people involved at a show. the bands that I've seen do this live, get a lot of feedback and charge from the crowd that knows them. its pretty sweet. Glad some of you enjoyed it. as for the rest, well I'll look into your stuff.

i fucking love screamo!

im actually working on some 'electronic screamo' right now
my first attempt is up at link/ectopicincest

but its not as good as the stuff ive been making in the last month, of which i should have some recorded and up by the end of the week

alright lilt. not a big fan of Go! with fourteen O, or Sky Eats Airplane, but to each his own. Bionic Ghost kids was alright. I think screaming should be a carefully used accent to real music personally. thats just me. if you like those bands though, you should check out this. this is Last Chance To Reason, from Maine. The guitarist is way good, the bassist plays tapping sequences on his 6 string bass, the drummer is crazy good with his double bass pedals and variety of cymbals, and the synth player is pretty damn good too. I don't care for screamo vocals that much, but if you're into it, these guys are good.

I like enter shikari is good because they use both screaming and singing to complement each other. They have some other good stuff. or so I think. apparently not real popular around here though. its all good :D
