--> Third time in a row that I've tried to edit something-- anything-- on one of the various band webpages I'm supposed to be maintaining, and I get this nonsense:

"Sorry! an unexpected error has occurred.
This error has been forwarded to MySpace's technical group. "

Great. Just great.

they all load like shit.

myspace has gotten me a lot of listeners.. i can't really knock it too hard

and i mean a bunch of people who actually give a shit what i am doing. and also turned me on to a lot of new artists that i really, really enjoy.

if the site functioned like it was supposed to, nobody would be complaining. if you find yourself on people's pages that annoy the hell out of you, it is your own damn fault.

also, for you folks who despise myspaz

link

this is made just for you

LOL!!!

the conspiracy theorist in me thinks every bottlenecked refresh is another advert impression.

the kid in me likes the frosted side.

myspace is both a necessity and a public nuisance. if tolstoy were alive today, he'd be writing about myspace.

Tolstoy? Well looks like you posted about it a year and a half ago (umm, sorry, do I owe you royalties now?), and I posted about it now, but from there to Tolstoy is pretty big leap.

If I could avoid MySpace I would. But it's hard to be a band (or a club, or a "night") without one.

i hate the myspace players as much as the em411 players.
i was on myspace for a short time but kept gettings messages from prostitutes,
even after i cancelled. they also keep your personal info FOREVER. there is no way you can delete it.
i personally like to punch myspace in the face

yea myspace 92kbps mp3's WTF

I always got the fuck ogff myspace the second I stumbled on it
later I thought, well, this myspace thing maybe has its merits
then I read the "comments" and I was like Wtf
still dont get it - you have these people conversing back and forth, but as an outsider all you see are these cryptic messages
normal? am I a doofus?

glad to read here myspace annoys the crap out of everyone - even the users

lol myspace current mood "bored" and bashing comments.
this is fun to reads sometimes. good licking luck to the technical support people if they really exist at all.
my guess is that someone told the new buyer that it was all automatic and works "out-of-the-box{. lol }

im part of this group link lol

crazyshadow: i went to virb.com and the latest comment by "saxe"is that they deleted her profile.
truth is they don't really because they keep all your personal info even after they "delete" your profile.
as a member of that group, maybe you want to pass that fact along(assuming its not there already).

anyone paranoid about private information should never divulge that information on _any_ site where they have to register. be it gmail, yahoo or em411. I thought everyone has their fake personalities set up for these things anyway.. admittedly with sites like facebook the situation is a little different.. but virb and myspace? unless you earn cash with your page there I see no reason to be truthful about any personal details.
