so last night i was up in Austin hanging around elysium for the snares show and me and my friend spotted the canuck cruising the sidewalks with his entourage. he passes right by us and my friend (whose birthday it was, and who i think idolizes v snares) was like "i think that was aaron funk" ....
so i made the suggestion of shadowing him, and we did. found out what kind of beer he drinks (or was drinking). and a few other stalkerish tidbits.
at one point in time he lost us and i stumbled right into him walking through a doorway. i was so embarassed about stalking him that i couldnt say a damn thing, not even excuse me, or respond "whats up dude" or something equally gay. i just freaked out, mentally told myself "uh-oh" and ran away.
anyway i think he knew what we were doing. so, uh, sorry snares man. your show was pretty cool, even though the moshpit got broken up ...

it wasnt so much celeb worship as it was me pushing my friend into following him around, because he seemed interested.
frn: im perfectly sure hes a nice guy. most canadians are very nice people, but houston is a city where everyone has a scowl and avoids eye contact and you just get used to somebody you dont know being suspicious of you :D its awesome. If you're going to stalk him, you'd have to work hard to top this: link

im totally moving down there whenever its possible for me to do so. ive already got a friend base there, so that makes it like ten times easier. just need to raise some heavy cash, and break my lease (or wait for it to run out)
