Obviously even more unhelpful, but I will be working in St. Paul from tomorrow until Thursday. When I went to work there last time I went to a non-em show at some place called Fine Line, went to a crazy awesome surplus store called Ax-man, Ate some really good veg food at an Indian place and some vegan pizza at a pizza place. And of course went to the Waterpark of America. Overall it was way more excellent than I was expecting.

I was there on business about a year ago. I love the airport there, lots of stuff to do and eat while waiting 4 hours for a connecting flight.
wow, these are decreasing in helpfulness exponentially.

breakscience - i'm a fan of the MSP airport as well. it causes me less stress than others
Mutek was pretty fun. the frost/fennesz/hecker show was very fun, and I had a blast at the nocturne 3 (kid koala, half hawaii, modeselektor) . Was a little bummed out by the rainy weather, and I thought that the mutek/kade tagteam at the end of picnik 2 was a little weak, but they were going for longer than planned, covering the absence of another DJ (cant remember who ATM).

I live in MPLS... uptown specifically. I've not been hanging out here much over the past 6 months or year, but I'd be totally down for a meet-up or something. Unfortunately, I think I'm the only other one from the TC on this site, I used to ask occasionally back in the day to no avail.
