Back from a fresh performance

so i had that fun performance on friday.
i was invited to play a liveset, and a chef was invited as well, to react to a big photography (is that the right word ? i'm losing my english sometimes...) that was shown especially that evening.
as the picture shows a man blowing air in a balloon, and there is something a bit strange, something between childhood nostalgia, i decided to work with some bits of the piano pieces i recorded some time ago, and with really concrete sounds (balloons, my feet on the floor, some cutlery sounds, some breathing noises...)
i ended with a strange liveset, mixing big droney parts, glitched out piano snippets, and overall some dancey beats made with sounds from the real life.
well, at one moment, i was playing my dancey beats, and there was like 10 children playing with balloons and exploding them, dancing on stupid beats made with balloons noises, and that moment was really amazing and crazy !
all this while the sad and tired parents were all smoking outside.
i finished deejaying in live 7 during 2 hours, getting the parents to dance too.
a really cool gig !
the good part in it is that i got to work a bit with max/msp to prepare my glitch sounds, and i have to say max/msp & Live 7 is the perfect couple !
i also got to work again with Live 7, and i really enjoyed it, it allowed me to work pretty quickly and to have a lot of fun, and also Live was pretty good to warp while playing tracks to beatmatch some bangers.
i asked for pictures of the performance, and will post it ASAP.

yeah i really enjoyed that performance. it allowed me to really play what i wanted, livesample the sound from the room, play ambient-ish sounds and funky "musique concrète" , so yeah: i had a blast.
