Wow.. my band entered the Qmusic awards last month. They are the Queensland state wide song competition here in Australia, and cover everything from jazz to country to electronica for awards.
Anyway, we found out last week that we have made it into the top 4 of the Electronic/New Music category.. award ceremony is next month, when we find out who wins out of the section..
We're up against some stiff competition, Lawrence English is a world renowned noise / sound artist and his track is great..

anyway, this seems to be a month of exciting things..
were playing our first interstate gig in two weeks, complete with air fares.. very very cool.. | |
