Hi there, emers all

Sorry to have missed a cluster video last month. I actually had completed one, but have been sitting on it for the last month. But anyway, I'm releasing it today. It's a performance of The Turn done in a new technique I call "ghost cluster." (Sorry about this nutty names!) I have several other videos in the works with the same technique, some a lot more elaborate. But I like this performance, and as live performances go I'm really proud of it, so here ya go...

I will be uploading to my vimeo page soon too, and will edit this with a link when it's ready, so you can watch in higher res.

Hope you enjoy this spooky performance.

Who you gonna call? GHOST CLUSTERS!"

doh! that'll teach me not to read the 1st page of comments

page 1 is always boring. skip to the end.

i like the way the subtle movement of the camera makes everything kind of wavy, and i like the way the slight offset in the video in the background makes it flutter. i think i wouldn't have minded if the layers were a bit more transparent, though. but i understand why you did it like that. now you have me thinking of different implementations of the basic idea behind your cluster videos...

thanks folks! I'm really so happy to hear that folks are liking it. Hecanjog and me are going to be working on another one in about two weeks actually, and I've got so many ideas for this technique. Hopefully I will be able to get them all out.
oh, by the way, cc... yes, that upload failed. I have no idea why it still registers as uploading. I'm exporting a version now that I'm going to upload hopefully by the end of the day. Thanks for posting them in there, btw.

brilliant

gave me chills, both the sound performance and video production.

im so glad you're doing a lot of these, they will stand together as a really amazing piece of art.

i took a turn, into the world of poe.

thats what i thought u said for the longest time..

beautiful man! this technique is very nice... I really like how static elements seem to sway back and forth a bit... video effect or camera motion? whatever it is its nice. Amazing how all 6 of you stay so still right in the middle, and boooom each character is swaying around, supertrippy. I have to really hand it to you for the pacing of your motions. subtle and purposeful.

Powerful performance too. I have to admit I've enjoyed this more than previous versions. bravo!

man Fredo (not the tripod).

So good.

hahahahaha, tantan, I actually have that tripod! lol!

Thanks guys. This is going to sound corny, but this little community here...

stopping myself. It sounded corny. But was meant from the heart.

i hear you fredo, i hear you...
