Hi there, emers all

Sorry to have missed a cluster video last month. I actually had completed one, but have been sitting on it for the last month. But anyway, I'm releasing it today. It's a performance of The Turn done in a new technique I call "ghost cluster." (Sorry about this nutty names!) I have several other videos in the works with the same technique, some a lot more elaborate. But I like this performance, and as live performances go I'm really proud of it, so here ya go...

I will be uploading to my vimeo page soon too, and will edit this with a link when it's ready, so you can watch in higher res.

Hope you enjoy this spooky performance.

very cool, indeed. if i ever have a budget for a video, i'm going to hire fredo as director.

btw, is that footage from the sad song video scrolling by on the tv in the background?

it's the Turn video on the tv screen...

11t1, you have 7 days to live.

laffs at dorky movie reference

It took me awhile to comment because the work connection is slow but it looks great. you inspire me. never a lack of quality, uniqueness, and you actually finish stuff (something I can't seem to get a handle on anymore)

can't wait to see the next one.

Hey, P. Thanks, man. Really kind words. I think I am finishing stuff more and more because I have worked out a way to incorporate roughness and mistakes into the work, you know? So my advice is to start to listen for the lovely accidents, the vulnerable moments, and be content with them. Frame them even.

Fantastic stuff. I love the chord before the break.

Holy smokes, fredo! I need to make a cluster video of me saying "fredo is a genius" six thousand ways. Thanks for all your work. Long may you create.
i really like the one in the church with the bass player.

Such candor and exquisite beauty in those voices. I'd love to see the more elaborate stuff! Just, wow meang.

This is marvelously brilliant! From the music to the concept and execution of the video. I liked this better than the original. The eye contact and the emotion, a really gothic madness & sadness -- totally kills.

The tracking on the head movement, excellent use!

fredo. some feedback for you...

my friend ed, grumpy genius, who is rarely excited by the world and who is quick to find fault said:

"that is fooking ace - you can tell him that"

my dad, genius and music lover said:

"great stuff"

they both really loved it. as do i. for fear of wearing the word out, you are a frickin genius!

THanks so much, again, folks. So many nice words! YAY!

And yeah, jogn. You use AfterEffects? You got it dead on.

A Turn video within a Turn video. Brilliant. That's why you're an enigma wrapped in a riddle served in a soft taco shell.
