I live in Prague for past couple of years, and frankly, I would prefer the tower w/o the babies. Not that they would scare me, I like the simple and imposing lines of the tower as it is and the statuettes actually spoil the shapes a bit. Anyway, what I really liked was how they connected the first floor of the tower with some other high-rise points in Prague - such as Vítkov monument - by laser beams during Entermultimediale festival, I guess it was two years ago.

i live in zizkov before the babies...but ive seen um. preaty cool. love david cerny, but i cant do umlaut's on my puter. he did the pink tank. i saw one of his shows where he had these huge plastic glocks all pointing at eachother, and when u stood in the middle of um they made a loud firing sound. heard he likes miami vice style boats. crazy like me. thanx for the memories

antony gormley homepage, lots of pics but navigating is a little weird (needs a big page with a bunch of thumbnails, imo)

in my psychology - perception class we did a unit on perspective and the prof showed some pictures by this guy:
julian beever (pavement drawings / forced perspective photography)
really neat. not the best artist in the world, and he's really commercial sometimes, but the pics are often hilarious.

i really liked the antony gormley stuff. very nice.
