i'm minding my own business and a big spider pops out from under the couch. i figure a shot of bug spray should take care of him. i get the raid, give it a few shakes, take aim and let him have it.
well it turns out it was a her and no sooner i open the valve of chemical death from above, she takes off, shedding hundreds of tiny baby spiders in all directions. it looked unreal.... lke terminator 2 but instead of liquid metal, it was FUCKING SPIDERS.
even though i got a lot of them, i know there are more still out there... in my house, plotting against me for what i did to their mother.
fuck it. i'm going to move next week. | |

We dont have poisonous spiders in the uk [thank fuck] but if you kill one in your house, youll only get more as that was eating all the others that ventured into its territory

i stopped squishing spiders again recently.
there's massive amounts of hysteria in california regarding brown recluse spiders, even though there have only ever been 10 or so found in the state. We do have other species of recluses-desert recluses and chilean recluses (oh ive done my research), but it's really minor. i've never seen a black widow either. so, now i cup em and dump em.

it was brown and it did kinda keep to itself... but i don't think it was poisonous.
for all the spider huggers, until you've seen this in your home, you just don't know.
