Hey, I'm Kidko. I make sound for games with a company called GL33k in Austin, Texas. Life is crazy busy with this job so I hardly have time to work on my other project:
koexist.com will be the home of a collaborative sound, visual and fiction project. The live show will present an epic story of science and magic, love and loss on the big screen while fellow musicians and I will perform the score on laptops and live instruments. The website will be the home for music, drawings and fiction as downloadable source material for remixing. It a slow process because I want to do it right.

I'll admit right now that I don't post on em411 very much anymore and it's because I got a job in game audio that takes up all of my life and all of the energy I have for audio type stuff, including selfish em pursuits.
Regardless, I thought you guys might enjoy this little feature on the company I work for and one of the big games we've been slaving over for the last year. The game wraps in about a month so we're in mega-ultra-14hour-day-crunch mode... it's nice to get recognition like this though.
ZOMG Yes that's me. Now I wonder why they taped so much of my rambling on about using ableton to make 120 bpm loops.
and the game looks also really cool
that looks AWESOME! Jealous of your experience on that project as well!
how dare you have a job you enjoy.
I can't wait to check this game out.. The design looks awesome!! Great work!
Thanks fellas. I'm pretty sure the game will be playable at PAX and Leipzig game expos, by the way. There's also a DS Mushroom Men game coming which I did 6 tracks and some of the sound effects for. It's a side scroller with grappling hook swinging ala bionic commando as well as the weapon building and spore (magic) powers.
NUNCHAKU SAUCEPAN FATALITY
this looks really cool. nice work.
you're one lucky guy, kidko
looks and sounds brilliant, and les claypool, yay!
sounds great. but only wii & ds? no xbox360?
Wow. this game looks great. Nice job too.
looks and sounds awesome.
great concept. i'd love an adventure game like that with music related puzzles to solve and beat/pattern matching.
