They have a very fast server and some nice features:

SoundCloud allows you to upload tracks and choose who can listen, comment or download your music. It's also a great tool for collaborating with other musicians (sending files, giving comments directly on the waveform, etc...) as well as staying up to date with what your fellow producers are working on at the moment.

We're still in super early private mode while adding stuff and hunting bugs and would like to make the site just a bit better before we let you in to poke around. You could, however, sign up for the newsletter and subscribe to our blog in the meantime. We'll let you know as soon as a few beta accounts become available. Thanks!

This looks really interesting - I added my name to the 'waiting list'. At AtmoWorks we have a lot of artists that collaborate and we currently let people trade files back and forth on our ftp server, but that's a bit of a pain for a lot of people. I have some artists still sendfiling me stuff as well.

SoundCloud looks like it'll do all that well - and also add a bunch of distribution ability to it. I'm definitely interested.

yeah its perfect for that jkn. Theres this handy tool called the drop-box where you can drop wav, aif, mp3, well any audio really.
