--> this sunday i went for a walk, baked in the sun. found a peavey spectrum analogue filter in a sleezy pawn shop near Ashland and Belmont in Chicago. the price was fair.

it is now welded to the tx81z. it adds a vca and envelopes that seem analogue, or at least snappy (snappy enough to generate a kick).

the tx81z makes a nice, hoary oscillator or resonant bell chamber for the filter.

mine is busted but the pairing is magical.

once again, hail the lowly tx81z it will never die.

no demos sorry

you must pics AND stfu

fucking tease.

also, add pics of moobs or gtfo

you could have 1 of the outputs from the tx81z going through the spectrum and the other not and set the tx to vary the panning with velocity so the higher the velocity the more filtered it is (or less)- that might be good- ive never tried it (i dont have a filter)

how is the official instrument not cowbell?

if it was cowbell then thered be no need for more of it
i wish i had a tx81z

C'mon, one little sample of Lately Bass through it, puweese?

lately bass? boring! i wanna hear a patch with alg 1, attack for each op set to 1,2,3 and 4 and out level for each being as high as possible without it breaking into noise

indeep: how can u not have a tx81z? they are like 40$ or something.
i met a guy who had eight of them. he attached them to an oberheim arpeggiator and controlled all of them from a midi guitar. he bought the whole set up with a plan to see what it sounded like. i asked him to describe it, or for recorded samples, and he didn't have either. another case of runaway entropy.
i'm at work but will try to do so at home.
nice idea BLA i'll see if i can implement that.

lol

and "gotta have more tx81z" just isnt as funny.

'more tx81z' was probably funny in 1989
