would be nice to have xlr and phantom power,

but still looks quite cool, and makes my shiny audio thing lust tingle.

seems more interesting than that maudio card recorder or the r09.

Looks like it might be a good replacement for a minidisc recorder. I would get one if I played guitar or spent more time on the beach with musicians. I love recording people playing at the beach, but haven't hung out with the kind of people I used to record in years. Of course, its all in how good it sounds.

Although having the facilities to mix music at a coffee shop seems mighty interesting. Especially when you don't have to lug around anything heavier than an ipod.

I think it would be a good tool for those people who just want to multitrack without staring at the screen. I can think of a friend who's a scratch DJ who would love this.

I'd think it'd be a good tool to get down raw ideas.

im thinking it would be great for putting together tracks with portable game system stuff like nanoloop or lsdj or rhythm.

omg! I thought the 600 was small, this thing is like, nano tracking.

link something similar / deltasleep suggested to me eons ago.

i hope the side arnt cheepy plastic on the micro-BR, kinda looks that way. Both have to be super convenient though. I think to have a 4 track like this would be great with a small pair of headphones and a pencil sized condensor and a quick song mixed down.. downtown and random intoxicated "rockstars" you may come across.

something good for sketching but i think most of these small multitrack gizmos don't even have 44khz resolution.
