Electronic Music 411 - status update - whatever, music, electronics, yoyo

hey peepz, just a short update, cause i'm not visiting this site a lot at the moment. As you probably know, I'm quite busy working for the company I started, and quite busy doing music as well. Musically, I've started to work with "notes" again, but with the insights of the last few months this is kind of starting all over again, working with much simpler concepts and trying to figure out things by myself (instead of reading up/copying). For example just trying to move the rhythmic concepts I established for myself and trying to incorporate things like tonality / melody into it, seeing how notes work against each other, how chord changes "feel" (instead of following some theoretical concept i read about in books). Trying to juggle company worktime (cause it's my own, it feels like i'm never allowed to stop), musical time, and just plain chilling off (which is something I realized I cannot do well at all) brings a lot of insight as well on how I function as a musician. Having all these different roles to put on at the moment, from secretary to developer to business man to whatever is a bit taxing, but music is kind of the grounding peg.

I love you all peepz, and it felt a bit weird keeping away from the site and the irc for a bit, so just to say i miss you while i'm busy, and i will keep you updated. <3
