She's a two-ish year old rescue dog, we adopted her from Portland's lovely Pixie Project: link She smells horrible as she hasn't had a bath in weeks and we can't bathe her because she still has sutures from her spaying. She is as sweet and mild-mannered as can be, and seems to tolerate our grumpy old cats pretty well.

That's a cute dog.

I get jealous. My kids and I want a dog, but my wife is a cat person so we don't have one yet. We're working on it.

We do have a cat and a turtle and we did have hermit crabs and a frog. But no dog. Never mind the smell, having a friend like that one makes up for it twenty times over.
