We're happy to announce top-40.org latest release - "Sounds and images from Crete" album - the second installment in the series (the first one was top32, recorded in 2002).

As usual, on the release page you'll find the full story in english and russian, short preview, two galleries with photos and, of course, audio-files: 320 kbps mp3. You have an option to download the whole release (including both photo-galleries in high resolution) as a single zip-archive (340 Mb), or you can download separate files at archive.org page and browse galleries online.
With this album you'll be acoustically teleported to the sunny Greek island Crete, where we spent an unforgettable week in the summer of 2008. We tried really hard not only to make a report from our trip, but to reproduce the atmosphere of the amazing places, where we've been.
We don't have a chance to include everything we want in one album, so en extra recording with lovely sounds of breaking waves is available as a separate release “Ordinary sounds of the sea” at Quietzone netlabel (quietzone.in) alongside with a DVD, filmed during this journey. Watching the beautiful seascapes with Quietzone music will relax and calm down your mind, which is utterly important in our hard times.
So many words about this record are left unsaid, but what more can we say? Open your ears, and you will have your own personal and fantastic journey to Crete - the best way to spend a winter evening ever. | |
