so, by now i'm sure some of you have seen the preview. if it's even almost well done i'm sure it will be seen by millions here and abroad. at the very least it will be entertaining to see some of those amazing stories and anecdotes about W's early days come to life on the big screen. I'm looking forward to it.

yes, good point. To me, this looks like yet another 'the bush admin is just stupid and incompetent, end of story' sort of thing.
from what i can tell it isn't just about his years in office. it's about his life before all that which i guess sets up the premise that any idiot can be president but if they portray certain situations right w/heavy chenney input etc then we'll see some ugly manipulation of policy/decision making etc in the presidential years that will hopefully make the point that "they aren't all just a bunch of idiots" and they have an agenda.

I don't give a sh*t about this movie. I'm just waiting for Obama to be president. I've had to watch Bush fuck this country up for 8 years and I have absolutely no desire to watch a movie about his life. I'd sooner watch a movie about my neighbor's dog's life than the W movie. Oliver Stone sucks anyway. Pop director.

Olii gets it right sometimes. JFK for example. i think it'll be good entertainment and fun to see all the wingers get all pissed off and the general media shit storm it will cause.
