Seattle's annual Decibel Festival has been nominated as Festival of the Year in URB magazines online poll. For those who don't know, Decibel is a yearly festival, spanning 4-5 days and 20+ venues in Seattle, with music covering all realms of electronic music; dubstep, techno, IDM, house, ambient, glitch, etc. are all represented by artists from dozens of countries. It's a small festival in comparison to others on the list (Coachella, Lollapalooza, etc.), but it's far more grassroots and incredibly well-organized. Seattlites, and other who enjoy the festival, should go vote in the online poll:

(I'm not affiliated with the festival...I've volunteered as a ticket taker or at the merch booth a couple times, and enjoyed the festival immensely, both as a volunteer and an attendee).

well, i was all set to vote for dbfest but they made the mistake of having an "other" text field so i couldn't resist inserting "my giant c..." er.. you get the picture and pressing submit... hopefully it will make a blip on their spreadsheet results.
