Electronic Music other: Happy Oo-Year!

Thanks to all who came to Aleatoric the other night! It was really great to see so many people show up, including lots of friends from out of town. I was really nervous before this one, but seeing everyone there was really heartening and it was fun to bust out the double stops.

For everyone who couldn't make it, I've posted my live set here: link

Anyway, also wanted to wish everyone a good year. I feel hopeful (despite everything being in the economic can) for the first time in years. May everyones' new year be filled with music and light.

great set. listening atm.
may your year be good
wow, the part at the 17 minute mark... awesome awesome awesome! I'm really impressed, man. You should feel so proud of yourself to have come so far. I remember when you first started writing about learning Cello! Keep up the great work!!
really gorgeous.
Thanks, Yggy and Fredo and astroid! I sometimes have to remind myself that I only started two years ago and realize how far I've gotten.

I was pretty nervous this time around, but I think I managed to use that energy in the set. I'm much more excited to push my set further and practice more...I was in a bit in a rut for a while...
That is very nice.
beautiful sounds.
Thanks, Lark and applaud!

I sometimes write directions for myself to help shape the set. I only had two this time around:

It will be enough (calm down)
Desolation and Hope

Gotta run to play a show! I'll check it after all this hoopla.

like the short hair
ted,
sorry i didn't come to this show! I'm still putting it together that Portland is driveable for me from home. Now that I'm listening to it, I wish that I had been there for the show.
Dave, there will be more shows.

I'm probably going to be moving up to Seattle pretty soon...so it'll be much easier.

But you guys should visit Portland anyway.
