I was chatting with Zanf and KidQ just recently about this short film, in KidQ's kitchen I think (yo!).

The film is about a Cretan village shepherd who is into martial arts. He is treated like an outsider in the village and people make fun of him. In this film though the freaks win!

It's a heartwarming short film that I think you'd enjoy and you'd clench your fist and go 'Yes!!!'.

Enjoy Samoure:

(25 minutes total, it's, (unfortunately, ) in bits, but don't let that put you off)

('Samoure' is something like a made up Greek vocative form of 'samurai'. Also, the music in the film has the feel of something Japanese but it's rizitika, which is a Cretan thing. Oh and so are guns!)

Nice little gem, beautifully realised. Thanks for posting!
Good, eh? I think his mum is a great character in it. Sorry it's not em-related, but I thought it was a bit inspired, and therfore inspiring.
