Lot of you analog tweakers are going to be ecstatic about this!

What if you could bridge the two elegantly and graphically, using a drag-and-drop, modular interface with calibration and control features? stretta (maker of many of the wonderful patches for monome) has built a solution for MOTU called volta. It’s a plug-in that turns your audio interface into a Control Voltage device. It works with MOTU audio interfaces as well as the RME Fireface.

this'll be pretty ill when i get my 101.

plan to get an RME too.. some dollars would be good right now.

I reckon a max/synthedit/synthmaker user will make something comparable.. and free.. soon. as it's not really a complex idea..

synthedit is crap. i've never had a good experience w/it. every singl eplug in i've used in any host has always crashed or just broken. ymmv.

someone has worked on something to achieve similar things using max but the MOTU plug looks pretty elegant and user friendly if that video is any indication.
