So I've been easing into learning Logic lately. Haven't been producing much but I've been doing a few little things here & there.
Anyway, I've started discovering places like Audio Jungle and Audio Micro where folks can upload their tracks for production purposes and folks can download them for whatever they need & you get paid a wee bit more than you would if you just left your tracks gathering dust (as I usually do).
So, I was wondering the following things:
1. Does anyone have recommendations of other sites of this nature I should be investigating?
2. Does anyone have any personal experiences about contributing to a site like that (positive or negative)?
Just curious. Thanks.

Well, the thing is, you are getting ripped off and its a waste of time. I looked at audiojungle hence i really like their tutorial websites also. (audiotuts.com . But you get paid paid so bad its better to give your music away for free, so it will reach more people(ive checked the top selling tracks, best i could find generated a little over 7 dollars but they dont pay under 50 without money transfer costs). If you wanna make moeny with licensing your music to company's, you should never upload music to a site that has no "door' policy (i.e they'll sell anything that gets uploaded. Would you buy from a site like that???
I just read an article on filmmusicmag.com there's a new indie artist licensing label: link
I personally like control over things and have the luxury of selling stock music via my SD company.

AJ does have a "door" - I've uploaded 3 tunes so far & every one has had to go through a review process. And their top seller would've generated at least $250 for the producer (he's an exclusive, so he earns more than average) -> link
Hellagood looks like a decent site if it were music I was really committed to. When I finally find the time to dedicate to my singer/songwriter project I'll definitely think about it.
I'm just looking for a way to offload things I'm not really going to use myself & that I'm not really attached to. It's more or less the stuff I'm using to teach myself how to use my studio & start building a portfolio for taking to bigger name production track companies (the kind with big doors that don't seem to open for me right now) or indie film guys. I'm doing the work anyway.
