About me

I make instrumental pop music, loosley inspired by IDM, new wave, synthpop, and anything else my little head absorbs. Jeskola Buzz is my weapon of choice, warts and all. I just haven\\\\\\\'t found a replacement for some of it\\\\\\\'s more obscure functions, so I\\\\\\\'m sticking with it in all of it\\\\\\\'s 10-year-old, obsolete hexadecimal interfaced glory. Sometimes I play live shows in Seattle (and hopefully elsewhere soon). I also occasionally release music for free online. I love each and every one of you like the precious little snowflakes you are.

Electronic Music other: Live in Seattle tomorrow!
Store Written February 19 2009
I'm on my lunch break at work right now. And I just finished writing my live set for tomorrow night (brought my laptop to work, so I could finish during the day and actually relax during the evening). I ended up writing a completely new piece at the last minute, and throwing it right smack dab in the middle of everything else I've prepared (which is no easy feat when working with Buzz...one of the many drawbacks to this somehow still amazing program).

So anyways...tomorrow night at roughly midnight, I'll be hitting play in Buzz and getting ready to work the knobs of my MIDI controller, while the sampled black metal screams from Hjalti's live set fade out. And then I will rock the LoFi Lounge with a combination of deep bass, breakbeats, 808 and glockenspiel samples, and fuzzed-out washes of overloaded delay. Here goes nothing!
