About me
Computer programmer by day, synth geek by night.
I fell in love with the sound of synthesizers as a kid in the late 70s and early 80s. Early on I listened to a lot of disco, electro, new wave, and especially synthpop. Later on I discovered house, techno, IDM, etc. Influences are too many to name, but I spent the 80s listening to Depeche Mode and the 90s listening to Orbital, and they are still my top two faves. In addition to electronic music, I\'m also into Irish Traditional Music. I played classical violin as a kid and hated it, now I\'m a fiddler. So far my fiddling and electronic music don\'t mix, but if I ever scrape together enough cash to get a Zeta MIDI violin setup I\'ll plug in and be an electro-fiddling fool. My Gear
