Hi there, emers
I just posted a new live performance video which I did with two other sets of musicians in two other parts of the world. I did something similar to this once before with Prugelknaben, but this one we actually used the live sound.
So it's me in Woodstock, NY
I Am Your Autopilot in Manchester, England
and Scalde in Lyon, France
Hope you enjoy!

lovely performance... would you mind sharing a bit of the technological details of how you synced it up?
Thanks!

sure thing, serenaimago
I supplied all the artists with an audio track that included a sinewave and the synthetic drums, plus the snaps you hear in the beginning, and asked them to record only their own audio, not the playback. Then I did the same. Finally brought all the audio tracks into Logic with that same track I sent to the others for syncing and mixed them together. Easy as pie.

naw, man. Wish I could say we did it that way. We each made our piece, and the guys emailed them to me. So indeed it was three live performances, but just imagine the latency issues if they had been in tandem!

hahah, indeed. It's a sine wave synth. I'm pairing down my tracks but feel it's ok to leave a couple synths as they aren't acoustic instruments anyway. Do you agree?
