Electronic Music other: Jam Jar digital synth

I'm working on a project right now that involves building digital synthesizers that react to light. As a first step I made a small synth that I was able to fit inside a jam jar. I creatively named it the Jam Jar, and it totally rocks. Here's a video that explains what it is and shows me jamming out with Ableton Live!

well done - you clever bloke!
Ah ha... very cool. I feel inspired to finnish my voice changer-into- a stomp box electronics project. Also i see you are using the FCB1010 with ableton to do looping which is exactly what i want to be doing. However im having teething problems setting up the darn pedal. any chance of sharing your .SYX and ableton rig? I guess im too lazy....or busy..... yeah i prefer busy. hence writing this at 12:41 at night.
sweeet! you could make one which is sensitive to gas and call it "The Bell Jar".
