Next Thursday, April 2, 2009, Grassy Knoll Gallery welcomes the latest exhibit by New Mexican, Dr Woohoo. Dr Woohoo uses computers to emulate nature in many ways, and we're going to showcase all we can. We'll have big, beautiful one-of-a-kind prints to look at and some interactive experimentation with which to play.
Dr Woohoo's developed a couple applications to take this beyond your normal art opening, with some interesting video camera art stuff you can mess with. And he's also got an audio-reactive piece for me to play with, which we'll be showing on a projector. From 6 - 9pm, I'll be feeding forward thinking experimental audio through this application and our lil' soundsystem to complete the whole synaesthetic experience.
And beer + wine, of course.
