I was lucky enough to grow up in a house full of my Dad's guitar playing. I didn't appreciate it as a kid. He used to do things like play two songs at once in two different keys and time signatures while chewing gum. I think that's the fingerstyle equivalent of jumping over school buses. Now, as an adult, I'm delighted to see his style of arranging and composition all over my own, and I'm continually impressed at his ability to think polyphonically. I didn't realize until I started playing guitar myself that my dad was a genius- not an exaggeration.
He's not much with the computers- but he does have a few videos of guitar work you might like. He recorded these videos shortly after getting a head injury, and he's seriously bummed out. You should cheer him up- and do yourself a favor by watching all his videos!

Yeah, he's one of those players who sees 2,3,4 parts all at once, and treats the guitar like a personal ensemble.
wonderful playing
that ending is golden

even as a kid, i was proud of my father, but kids dont want to look uncool.
you just sorta smile about it.
growing up affords the luxury of admiring openly.
congrats on a cool dad.
some of that genius was passed to the next generation, I imagine

Quite the talent! I can see him playing in Malcolm Arnold's Guitar Concerto or Rodrigo's Concierto De Aranjuez.
Does he mostly do arrangements or does he have his own compositions too?

He does a lot of composition- check the other videos for his original work. He's been piling them on lately. He'll be happy to see so many hits, thanks guys!
