so, this is a post to start organizing another toronto em meet. whos down? any suggestions as to a place? id really like to have one again. possibly meet some new faces. discuss.

Umm. Any time other than July 4-12 works for me. I will be in Montreal / Mont Tremblant those dates. I'm a little low on the cash for the next week or so, so maybe towards the end of the month? I think venue should depend on who is bringing what to show. If we don't need a real sound system it would make things a lot easier. The Art Bar was a bit of a favor last time... Pysingo suggested the Rhino last night, they do have wifi which is always a plus. Decent beer selection too! decent=300 different kinds.
plus i could always bring my boombox.
what dates are good for you peoples? i am free ANYTIME. maybe towards the end of the month?

i'm getting back from san francisco on the 21st, so i doubt i'll make it out. but don't change on account of me as i probably can't promise any other date now that i'm a responsible and attentive husband and father...
well id like to see minisystem at this; HES ANOKAY GUY. so sometime nearer the end of the month? anyone other than me and gorf? anyone? bueller? bueeeee. lame.
i'd be into it please send me a pm if this goes down! i feel kind of isolated from the rest of the toronto em community... i just know a few others like john farah, naw, nif-d, aidan baker (if he counts, really... i mean he's great but is he doing "em" per se) and a few folks from the whole ping crowd and some of the NAISA folks like darren copeland... that's about it. toronto is sort of a strange place for em... the community is not as accessible as say the Wavelength and Improv communities!
Hrm, well lets say the 28th then... (Sundays are good for me). And that way we can accommodate minisystem, even though he may not be able to make it.
Perhaps we can talk to some friends who aren't on EM411? Recruit? :P i'm definitely gonna be outta town on the 28th.... but ... i could just come next time? unless ... :-S
John's CD release party is at the El Mocambo on the 12th of July... We could all meet there too? I hope I get back into the city early enough to make it out...

I was, but not for that long. I had an early morning the following day, so I bailed early. I was the dude with the turtleneck sweater, man bag, facial hair and cute girl. Apparently I look way different cause Jeff didn't even recognize me haha. I used to have some wacky hair. Reeeeal wacky. I think the 28th might be out for me because the GF is moving the end of the month and we aren't sure which day yet but it could easily be that Sunday. Signup to comment
