Electronic Music other: cp251 arrives today (finally)
Store Written June 25 2009
after many long weeks of waiting, my moogefooger cp251 is supposed to arrive this afternoon. apparently moog ran out of parts for these after using them as free promo for folks buying phatty's and voyagers...back order maybe that is why i almost always buy used gear. back ordered is such a shitty status for an order to be in. torturous for gearslutz such as myself. anyway, control voltage here i come. there will be even more terribly odd sounds coming form my house this weekend and beyond. pleased i am.

these look really really fun.

what kinda cv gear you going to use it with?
sh101,pro-one,mini model d, arp axxe/little brother + other moogerfoogers for starters!
Weird, the Moog website says they're in stock. I'd like to get one of these just for the lag proc. and S&H alone. I read somewhere that the mult isn't active, but don't know if that's true. I've never been able to justify paying $300 for one, and rarely see them sell for less. Actually, I need a VX-352 for my Voyager RME first.
Recent blogs: Re-amping Mic, How do you do it?
they are in stock now, but they weren't for quite a while. got mine for 325. a lot but it's worth it to me. dunno if the mult is active or passive. i would be glad to check if you told me how. vx352 looks great for voyagerzzz, alas, i only have an ol' model D
it is wonderful! if u are a c/v tweaker and can't afford delving into the full modular realm, i highly recommend this thing!
UPS one to Cincinnati, OH
congrats! I got one of these a month or two ago - ditto to mrmagic - definitely adds a modular aspect to my setup on the cheap. spent all day yesterday interfacing the cp251 between a 303 and a micromoog -- holy chit! funfunfunfunfunfun!
broke down and snagged the lowpass too. now it is ring mod+phaser+cp251+lowpass. POWER
humour: sold all moog products except mini to help fund building modular. those mf's are like crack. two months after i got them i started the large and intense process of modular planning/logistics. but it was a damn good idea and i have the mf's to thank for it. just played my first show last week with it and it was the funnest show i have ever played.
lolz. i was just thinking.. whoever wrote this blog is just going to end up selling it get a modular.
