rad.
when is it out?
Interesting work. Pretty images. Are the audio related tasks here being handled by libraries native to openframeworks?
cbit: the audio is all being handled with an audio engine interfacing with RemoteIO, which is a audio unit that gives you access to the buffers coming into and out of the phone.

I don't know if there is a way to do what I did with the openframeworks stuff directly, unfortunately. The code that I used as a base is here: link and here: link
that said, there is a sound player as an extension to openframeworksiPhone, I just didn't research it very much. It may very well be exactly the thing to use.
Very cool... I look forward to trying it out!
very neat!
so, maybe this was answered above, but where do the loops come from? you can import your own?
adcBicycle: at this point, nope! at some point in the future, maybe! it is certainly something on our pheature list.
wow. i'm impressed.
importing loops would be uber rad.
congrats on the work. this is your way to iphone stardome.
Nice.
=)
I have been on the fence about the whole deving for iphone because, of the lack of an import feature. I am sure there is a way to truncate the app with space for web importing but, i am sure apple wouldn't approve of that in the apps store.
Is the app store the only method of distribution for the iphone?

i really like the artwork.
really neat app, congrats!
sucks that you can't use your own samples, but hopefully it'll get there someday.
Very cool!

I've not done this myself, but can't you just shell into the iphone and drop your apps in manually for testing? What's apple's recommendation for that?
Did you consider the name iPhonome?
I enjoyed this blog.

glad you all like the app so far! we've got big plans, and we'll keep you posted of course.
Any plans for adhoc distro for em411ers?
