I know a number of you are gone/can't attend, but if you're around for first thursday in portland today, I'd love to invite you to an audio/visual show that I'm doing.
I'm doing a show for my friends' Paint and Copter's Hexasion monthly. It's going to be really fun and a challenge since I am doing both cello and visuals at once.
How am I doing this? I've written some sound reactive visuals in Processing using some FFT analysis magic. I'm still getting the hang of the analysis framework I've written but I think this will be really neat. It's new territory for me, so I'm a bit freaked out about this show, but I think it will be fun.
Anyway, here are the details:

sounds like awesomeness! I <3 roshi! i was in portland back at the end of May...it was good times. I went to the Shanghai Hideout...or Tunnel or somthin' . . . it was one world on top and another on bottom. I've gotta move to Portland. Good weed and brew. A lil' rainy, but I handled 5 years in Victoria, BC with relative ease. I'm ready for the move to the PNW again...good times. Best of luck Rosh!
