I won something for my music yesterday. besides me report cards and polite applause, it feels like nobody's ever paid attention to what i'm doing.
there's this site where people submit their VERY south african spoof covers, and i won for a cover of Hotel California!!! I now have a brand new 32GB iPod touch, which I'm selling to buy a mic and more gear!!
more than anything, i just feel that FINALLY there's a tangible cause-effect relationship starting to emerge for all the effort i've been putting in! plus, someone basically just donated me a 12-channel Yamaha mixer yesterday! Yaaaaaaaaaay!!!
