Hi there, folks
Here's my most recent live cluster video. This one is an octagon within a circle. On my website link you can see it as such, and click the panels to turn and watch the different voices. On vimeo you can see it just as an odd octagon link .
The video was shot in two hours while I was in Bra, Italy. Two days later I had a schedule performance where I was going to experiment singing against cluster videos with their lead vocals removed, so I made this as a little token of appreciation to the nice Italian folks I'd met.
Also the building within which I shot it was amazing. It was shaped as an octagon and had really fantastic reverb. The minute I entered I was inspired to sing. I think everyone is.

very powerful and meditative really enjoyed it this portrayal of a man of many selves if very interesting .... thanks room. I had planned to shoot it another slightly more complex way in even lower light but my little point-and-shoot wasn't having any of it! I'll probably do it later and it will strengthen the idea of one man splitting into many others.

interesting to hear the supporting voices more than on the recording looks like you're on a pineapple slice especially liked the match in the middle business thanks astroid! Yes, that match bit... I kind of wish I had done it a tad differently. Like perhaps if it had been a live feed from the actual voices, the flame being effected by my voice... But, well, it was all I could do for the festival in a day.
Hey, a friend of mine is doing a big thing for Doritos, an online piece. The last one they did won a bunch of prestigious awards. Anyway, he asked for advice on composers... I recommended you. woah thx!

hahah, yeah, it got a bit hot there in the levels. The candle was an afterthought really, and I think I should have been a bit more careful with the graphic integration of it. What I'd REALLY like to do is another ghost cluster video (like this one: link ) but using candles entirely, and many more voices than 6. Like this version of The Sad Song is 7 voices, but for the lighting conditions it would make sense to double each voice, even the harmonies. It will make a very thick sound, but more importantly, it will allow me to light it entirely with candles and will look really cool I think.
the modular stuff on theturn.tv is great... and i really like your technique, especially multi-layering voices.
but i have to say i keep wishing for more adventurous harmony/melodies from your voice. maybe we can do a duet together!? ah i hoped you would share more links! thanks Fredo.
i remember that first one... i like the progression i think it makes sense that we do something together. I'm up for that, craque.
