If you set your default midi out device as an iac bus you can route midi from ableton to vfx, works ok but a bit laggy. I did briefly setup with soundflower / iac, really want a vst wrapper though problem is the only plugin i reall want (oatmeal) doesnt work with it  thanks for the tip ST8 - i'll give it a try
