Electronic Music other: Whispering Bob Harris
Store Written July 25 2009
Hello there, folks

Just wanted to let you know that tonight me and my musician friends and I will be playing a set on BBC2 with Bob Harris. His show begins at 11PM. Not sure when we will come on during the set, but we did 3 songs and an interview, so it's probably about 15 minutes or so.

I think it will be available for a week at the following link following it's original air time...

The interview was one of the best I've had. Mr. Harris had a lot of interesting ideas to discuss... we talked about Fellini, the evils of auto-tune and all kinds of music related stuff...

Hope you enjoy!

Then the following day we did a live session with Marc Riley on BBC 6 in Manchester. That was a totally different style, much looser, Marc being a very funny guy. Anyway that session can be heard now and I think for the next 5 days here:

Fredo - that's really cool - Bob's a legend in the UK (Fromthe Old Grey Whistle test days). I'll Check it out. Congratulautions on your continued success.
Thanks, WhiteBox. Yes, I suppose I've been pretty lucky - little bits of success here and there. Actually in the UK it's been mostly not so great. We're hoping these radio appearances will help. The good news is that Mr. Harris's wife came running out to us as we were walking to the elevator and told us he had just told a friend it was one of the best sessions he ever did! Hopefully he will spread that spirit around.
fantastic, fredo! really sounds like things are going great for you! don't obsess over what doesn't go perfectly- I know you, and I know that you're almost definitely inflating whatever problems there have been. So just back up, and remind yourself that you are on tour- how cool is that?
it's cool indeed, D. Cool indeed. Who woulda thunk it, actually! And, just as an aside, I discovered some music that really reminds me of you: Don Gibson. The song I am obsessed with by him is called Sea of Heartbreak. It's sooooo cool. His voice is amazing and the arrangement is really fun. Do you know it?
Autotune isn't evil! Don't you know that T-Pain is Jesus?

No really, congratulations Fredo.
listening to bob harris now, what a great interview and session!!!

so exciting to listen to this!!!

congrats fredo
