Electronic Music personal: drum n bass still strong?
Store Written October 25 2009
I really really really miss the music I listened to when I was sixteen. I'm on a drum n bass trip down memory lane right now.
I want something new though.

Are there any drum n bass heads on here that can point me to dubby, melodic but still rough breakbeat music. Is there anything resembling roni size reprazent these days? Back then I listened to jungle, ragga infused drumnbass , that stuff. Not looking for darkstep really (except if theres some really good examples there) just, you know, bassy stuff.

check out hospital records, usually very clean, very well produced sound. nothing really on the ragga tip though...
not necesarily what you asked for, but you must check out spor, apex, noisia, mistabishi
theres some suggestions in this thread on planet mu : link
(+ the usual shit talking + insults)
great genre .. but it ruined the midwest rave scene. It took over. People stopped dancing (because it's hard to dance to). Bunch of Bobby Hill/Eminem looking kids in Ecko sweatshirts pushing glass on people.

zzzzzzzzzzzz... I love drugs but hate drug scenes.

seems international... in holland the "gabbers" took over the dnb scene. Oh and i hate Mc's why not shove that beer glass in his face while your at it,

[edit] been listening to the planet mu thread's musicians... Seems like lots of artists halftimed their dnb and pass it as dubstep...
