It's become a little tradition to post a picture of Princess Leia each year on November 9th, so here goes.
This time the news is not so good. She has developed a lump on her neck that may be an abscess, cyst or a tumor, and its infected with some aggressive bacteria. We've sent away a sample and wait for the results. The vet says that her chances are not so good.

About me
I enjoy building gear as much as I like playing with it. I havn't been creating music for very long, so don't be too hard on my tracks. I dislike the use of computers, and welcome a more hands on approach. Most of my music grows from live improvisational noise. Constructive critism is of course warmly welcomed.
My Gear
The studio consists of several cassette decks, shortwave radios, vinyl players, diy synths, minidisc machines and modified/circuit bent toys. I sometimes use a computer for multitrack recording and effects. Recently, I've enjoyed building some weird MIDI controllers.

I seem to drift back to em411 once a year and catch this update each time... I think the princess should be the new mascot for em411. Maybe someone can make an ASCII art version so em can save on bandwidth
Hey guys, thanks very much for all the nice wishes and support! We got the results of the tests back today, and it was not the bacteria that was suspected, it's a lesser aggressive kind which hopefully will respond well to the antibiotics. She has a huge lump under her chin now and it still seems to be growing, but I guess the outlook is a little better at least
