About me
I started writing music in mid to late 2002. My style has grown and changed a lot since then and i've dabbled in everything from IDM to Industrial to Ambient. I have two main projects at the moment - Mr. Panda, to house my general works. Music under this name tends to be more melodic, structured, and upbeat and pulls ideas from many different genres. Subbasement, to house my Dark-Ambient/Ambient-Noise style pieces which I didn't feel fit appropriately under my original project. I made the decision to split them so each style could be more focused as well as to make submitting demos, and that sort of thing, easier.

Electronic Music other: New site
Store

When I first saw the new design, it didn't wow me, but it's slowly growing on me and I like a lot of the new features. The tagging system especially will come in very handy I think. Right now, It doesn't feel as intuitive as before, but I'm sure I'll get used to it over time and learn to love it. It also seems more chaotic, but I think that will prove to be more of an asset than a detriment.
In short, I like it, and I'm sure I'll begin to like it even more as I find my way around all the new features.
Edit: Wow, with the new site layout and with the design a little more rigid, I definately like it a lot more. It's not quite so disorienting to look at.

Yeah, it does have a funny feel. But to be apart of a development in sorts of the new site is nice. There are bug's to it. We are finding them and helping each other learn what we have learned with the new site. It brings the family closer.
The old site got hit by a truck and died, but now dad went out and got us a new puppy.

i think the site makes a lot of sense now, though i too felt crowded. i clicked a couple of buttons, and, i gotta say (except for the obvious, wherdafxdamxt?) i really think em did... as president bush would say, "a heck of a good job."

I like it. I liked it from the minute I opened the page. It feels more like a community now somehow, it's more closer to its goals than ever before. I think the only thing i'm not crazy about it the releases, you can't see who they are by. small thing though, cos you might discover someone new
oh I just figured how you can fix that...

I can definately agree with that, especially now that the design is a little more together. The community spirit seems much more obvious now than before, and having the blogs play a more central role makes talking to one another a little more easy as well.
