Electronic Music discussion: EM411 Soundcloud Group
Store Written November 23 2010
Hi all,

I just started an em411 soundcloud group : link

I think it could be a good alternative for people who don't have server space to share their tracks. Also its nice to have the comments at certain points on the wave length read out. Not to mention you can share it but keep it from being downloaded. It would be great to do that especially if you are planning on releasing it later but just want some feedback.

Join me! I think I just saw Celebacyclub on soundcloud, gonna follow him.

See you around!

Yay! Hi guys! I just shared a track that I have been working on but don't want to have it be downloaded until it's release. Check it!

Oh yes, i see! thanks. Tracks a sharing!!!
just joined. sweet idea
I started a discussion about being a moderator if anyone is wanting to do it with me. I don't think there is much to it tho.
I think there is an API that allows it to be embedded in the website via PHP. I see more and more labels using soundcloud as their server for audio. Might be an idea to utilize the API for MIXIT too.
i just joined also.
Recent blogs: Time to STFU, misc, tylth hits london
yeah soundcloud mixits would make good use of the time based comments.
yeah, actually it would be great for em411 to allow embeds from soundcloud in the release pages. Although it might open up an embedded can of worms.
nice one...i will join you immediately.

Actually, if the API is any good, the backdoor should be on soundcloud no?
