Hello from the temporarily arctic Weimar.
We're going to put on a large-ish STFU in June 2011 here in Weimar, currently thinking about 3 nights, two more intimate concert nights and one all-out club-stomper with the possibility of workshops and jams all day long. I have already logged in June 15-18 as dates with the venue we'll be using (same place wesen and me have our offices / studios at).
so... who's in? would be great to get a rough estimate so we can start figuring out possible grants and stuffz.

but i have no laptop atm! can you play live with an ipad? go for it - I'm not going to take the chance to nerd out about iphone/ipad jamming, but it's tons of fun and getting better - maybe with an iphone or some other sound source that can mask switching apps.. mmmhz.
 ..and I'm sure there's a spare macbook around here somewhere if needed. I wish we had these in the US sometimes. Have fun guys!!
With two ipads and maybe some pedals, I bet you could put on an amazing show. But yeah, I agree that you would want some other sound source. Unless you are staying in one app the whole time. Which is very possible since there are some really cool apps out there. i'd be up for it. More the intimate thing i guess. Maybe even as a trio. This would not be clubby, but quite heavy.

awesome. if liz is planning on coming, there's space and hardware to do video installations / screening in various rooms in the venue - would be great to get a bit of av art into the mix..

i'm an Aussie, moving to UK in a few weeks to work/live for 2 years wesen mentioned this was happening but dates weren't yet confirmed. i should have my hardware shipped out by June, would love to do a live set! link
