Yeah, it sucks. For like 6 years, this site has had a lot to offer. It's strange that it's just kind collapsed after going so strong for so long. Guess it's time to buy a guitar.
I'm going to drop my user name. It just doesn't seem appropriate now.
It's been on life support for a while now, I think. Remember the days when you could post a new track at midnight, and wake up to a dozen comments full of practical insights, mixing tips, and ego-stroking? And then within three days, it would be off the front page because so much quality stuff was flooding in.
Where's everyone now? Soundcloud? Soundcloud is pretty awesome, but doesn't really facilitate discussion or community like this site did. I don't come here much these days, but I'll still be sad if the site truly goes dark. I totally agree. Though I didn't post often, I learned and absorbed so much from this site. I had a lot of good laughs too. I feel like I'm writing a shitty obituary. I feel like I lost all interest in music when I lost my community. Now I make things and I've got no one to share them with.
Just talk about beer with Tantan and jdg on facebook. mr. em doesn't have interest in this site anymore, apparently. Now the site is actually breaking down
 i keep coming back for the occasional great music, but yeah....all else seems deceased.
I really feel like this site faded in the last year or so. I just don't know why people don't have as much to say anymore. But yeah, I have definitely learned a lot from what people have had to say here.

I come here every day but never post. The truth is that I lost my password. Well, not really... I just searched my inbox and found this password and it worked.
So hi! One thing I will say is that people have been asking this *exact* question since at least 2003.
I have made a friend or two off here over the years. rs I've met many people off of this website since 2003 or so. Everyone is pretty awesome. I really believe that it could revive itself if admin would spend some more time on it or let other people poke away at fixing things up.
This used to be my favorite place on the internets. c'mon, don't be so pessimist. it used to be more lively here but that doesn't mean it cannot happen again.
btw, i was wondering if the site was broken or my browser had gone crazy. Mr. Admin please come back and make teh 411 work properly again. Signup to comment
