Pretty awesome, I'm definitely going to look into this more. I like this just for itself, but it's also interesting to hear as a sort of what-if experiment. I think African rhythms influenced a lot of contemporary composers, like Philip Glass, who then went onto influence electronic music. It's cool to see a parallel track, how a different sort of electronic music evolved.
you say " vibrant" , yet I see hokey and spaztic, and goofy. I like it.
every now and then? that's where all the best music is... and that's because of the fact that it's not just one scene. it's a zillion.
