About me
noodling synths, dusty drums, blunted basslines

I like to craft tunes with a boom-bap bottom end and a melodic electronica-influenced top end.

something stompy to move the feet, and twisting synths to enchant the mind

Electronic Music personal: 4 weeks in Berlin!
Store Written January 25 2011 , Tags: Berlin, Germany, travel
Hi all,

Next week I arrive in Berlin to begin 4 weeks of intensive language lessons at the Goethe Institut. I will be living in the city and having afternoon lessons, leaving me lots of free time for exploration and (hopefully!) attending electronic music gigs.
Can anyone suggest the best places to catch not only decent dance music (i like most genres) but also more experimental and live PA sort of stuff? Any other advice for places to visit/things to do? I'm sure I share many of the same interests as other EM411ers.
If there's anyone in Berlin during February, let me know if you're up for a beer
i'd love to meet folks and see non-touristy things.

danke!

4 weeks of german at goethe institute = you got some kind of grant for science, right?

in berlin you should check out maria club. it's the place where the transmediale festival takes place. actually, i think transmediale is sometime in february, look into that. watch your wallet / camera is you're walking in the kreutzberg area at night.

if you manage to get bored in berlin, come over to dresden for a beer.

The science of Deutch sprachen that is.
haha, no science grant....been a dream of mine to reconnect with the language after many years of neglect, and where better to study than in Germany itself? i've just flown to UK for a 2-year work visa, going to enjoy myself for a month in Berlin before finding a job, etc
thanks for the info on Transmediale 2011, looks amazing:
