About me

I make instrumental pop music, loosley inspired by IDM, new wave, synthpop, and anything else my little head absorbs. Jeskola Buzz is my weapon of choice, warts and all. I just haven\\\\\\\'t found a replacement for some of it\\\\\\\'s more obscure functions, so I\\\\\\\'m sticking with it in all of it\\\\\\\'s 10-year-old, obsolete hexadecimal interfaced glory. Sometimes I play live shows in Seattle (and hopefully elsewhere soon). I also occasionally release music for free online. I love each and every one of you like the precious little snowflakes you are.

Electronic Music promo: Hjalti - If Once We Lose This Light
Store
Written April 15 2011
I'm really pleased to announce the first physical release from my label, d.iscontent, and our 8th release overall:
Hjalti - If Once We Lose This Light
The third full-length album from Hjalti is finally here, and it’s a monster. The evolutionary changes apparent between Winter Asks What We Did in the Summer and the follow-up, And Will You Leave Me Thus… have accelarated with this release, giving us a glimpse of a gorgeous and terrifying vision. Chords stretch and drag, pulled like tides reacting to some distant mass, while thundering drums press in from all around, deeper and more intense with every track. Respite is momentary, but oh so sweet. Then comes more crushing darkness…
Include remixes by Ryan Math, Miniature Airlines, the Googly, and Naturebot.
Available for purchase on Bandcamp - on CD for $8 including domestic shipping, or as a digital download for $5.
