@admin: even though every once in a while people complain about how em411 used to be so much better in the olden days, there are still people like myself, who like it and want to use all of its features. the frontpage updates of the forum have been broken for several months. this discourages the starting of new threads and hinders discussion in general. even though blogs are maybe more personal and attract attention, the forums are great for sharing and storing knowledge on more technical topics. i therefore kindly ask you to fix the updates and bring life back to the forums.

Have you tried directly contacting admin?
He/She did respond to fix the site a while back so its worth a try. I will contact them too, as there are still a few other things that dont yet work right. I too would be happy to see this fixed.
a spammer cull would be nice too
