500 copies have been made, and I've been sent 50 of them.
Just wanted to hear some of your experiences and tips with what to do with your own vinyl.
I was planning on going round a few record shops with them, selling some at gigs etc.
Any knowledge is appreciated.

its my first vinyl release, so im excited. i got approached through soundcloud. theres a good range of music on the label. hahaha awesome cover eddie. you been to mono with it yet? i'm sure they'll take some off ya - sale or return.

actually they were the first people i phoned this today.
they're up for taking a couple of copies. im gonna wander round a few places tomorrow... it was pishing down today. oh my, i want.

I did a load of 12"s a few years back and tried to hawk them round record shops. In my experience it's more trouble than it's worth: generally people won't buy something they've never heard of that's in amongst a rack of other records. I'd say your best bet is at gigs. Maybe on-line too... G yeah i reckon your right re: gigs.
the label are gonna punt copies online, plus they have a bit of distribution. ill repost the link when its officially out. em411 peeps deserve the scoop on my shizzy vinyl bizzy. glasgow people: i stuck a couple in monorail and love music (used to be avalanche up near queen street) nice one. I should be in town on Saturday (I'm body doubling for Brad Pitt) I'll try and pop in get a copy..... I don't have a fekin record player though

i went for an audition. no luck. i had a plan to hand a copy of my zombie themed single to mr pitt. Damn - that would have been the perfect promo man. You make a great Zombie too, what were they thinking?
I didn't even know about it until last the weekend driving through G Square wondering what the fuck was up with the traffic... besides, the only way I could body double for Brad is if he went on the booze for 10 years, with no exercise, contracted a wasting disease and got beaten with the ugly stick a few hundred times... and then only maybe. I saw this and it made me think of you.
