Hi everyone, long time no post! I hope everyone is having a great 2012 so far!
I'm writing today mainly to show off my new baby, a PAIA modular (2700 + 4700 modules) that I just put together over the weekend with the help of the amazing Psyingo (Ruin).
Psyingo built the new power supply and helped fix a few modules. I made the case.
There are still a few modules I need to get (that's the running joke right?) before it is fully capable, but this is a very nice start to say the least!
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I do having this beauty!

Psyingo stills owes me a filter box creation from a few years ago... not to dis him though, he does some great work... except for that time he owed me $200... or a filter box...  this modular is like tits in the fayce!!!

adcBicycle: Are you in touch with him? He just moved to back Toronto and hasn't moved all his stuff back just yet.
eyesnine: do it! i always wanted to get into modulars and analog stuffs too, but at 150$-350$ per module it's just too pricey for me at this point...
gorf: I've lost contact with him a year or two ago... he was really close to finishing it, just a few bugs left... oh well...
dkarma: a nice cheap modular if you're good with the soldering iron: link ... takes a little while to build, but it's not too hard to do, well documented instructions... and the finished product has all the basic modules you need, there's a surprising amount of stuff it can do considering it's size/price...a very nice intro into modulars... and where are those gd smapples!!?

if you're thinking about DIYing some more modules look into the Blacet stuff. you can also find Frac stuff for cheap online. since its not the most popular modular format. adcBicycle: get ahold of phil. he owed me some $$ for awhile but he ended up taking care of it when asked him about it after a few years. he's totally a stand up guy.. ricemutt / bagger288 just got a little modular noise box that Psyingo built. took him a bit but damn it looks pretty awesome. adcBicycle: Contact him and I'm sure he will make it a priority as soon as he has all his equipment again!
Also, I posted two clips further up the page there... I've been playing / learning a lot since then though and could probably show off some more complex things now. Signup to comment
